| About: | I'M THE PROUD MOM OF A US MARINE. MY SON IS MY HERO AND I'M SO VERY PROUD OF HIM! HE CURRENTLY IS ATTACHED TO A UNIT IN HAWAII AND IS SCHEDULED TO DEPLOY TO IRAQ IN FEB. 2008. I HAVE TWO NEPHEWS ALSO SERVING IN THE MILITARY. CODY WITH THE US ARMY AND WHO IS CURRENTLY IN IRAQ AND THEN THERE IS BLAKE WHO IS IN THE AIR FORCE AND RECENTLY RETURNED FROM KUWAIT. I HAVE TWO OTHER CHILDREN THAT I'M JUST AS PROUD OF. IN MY PAST TIME I ENJOY CANOEING AND TRAVELING. I'M A BIG DALLAS COWBOYS FAN. I WAS RECENTLY REUNITED WITH MY BESTFRIEND FROM HIGH SCHOOL. I wish the best for your sons and nephews. Its great to see such support from the family members. The guys really work very hard!.. Semper Fi!"

My son is with 1/24 Marines Reserves, Alpha Co. out of Grand Rapids, MI. They were deployed to Iraq in September of 07 & returned in May. Hopefully they won't be redeployed again!
