I have a son in law, on his way to Iraq, a nephew and his wife, who just left Iraq and an X husband who is a Vietnam vet. Yes it is a hard thing to go through. God saw fit to bless me with 18 grandchildren, 12 of them are boys. Two of them just turned 18 and I am terrified that one day, there are going to tell me that they joined the military. So whenever you say it is one of the hardest things I've had to go through, we're Women and God made us Women. I pray for the safe return of all your children and I pray for myself to have the strength and courage of you Women. Thank all of you "

I am currently living in Tezas at ft Hood with my Husband who is currently overseas in Iraq.. He will be home shortly.. MY son in law is stationed at Bragg still and my daughter who has been here with me since january will be heading your way at the end of this month.. anyway Thanks and May God bless and keep you and your loved one safe and out of harms way.."

| 82ndairbornemom "My son is also from Fort Bragg, NC. When he comes home from Iraq in April. So yours are Airborne also, I am very proud to be apart of such Elite Group of Men and Women. I did not realize how Elite the 82nd was until my son was there for a while. People would tell me what a great group of people that were there and the training was top notch. But that also put my son on front lines while in Iraq. He is in Adamiyah. He is suppose to be home the end of March early April. It is the hardest thing to go through having a child over there. I am getting somewhat excited about him coming home in the next few months but I don't want to get to excited in case something happens. Talk to you soon. Kellie"
